New AC Installation

AC Installation

Properly sized, properly installed central AC for Lebanon and Boone County homes. Manual J load calc, written quote, financing available. No high-pressure sales.

Sizing Matters More Than Brand

An oversized AC short-cycles, never dehumidifies properly, and dies young. An undersized one runs constantly and never catches up on 95°F days. We start every install with a Manual J load calculation — square footage, insulation, window orientation, ductwork — so the system actually fits your house.

Manual J Load Calc

ACCA-standard whole-home load calculation. Most cheap installers skip this and just match the old unit's tonnage.

Manual D Duct Check

If your existing ducts can't move the air, no new AC will perform. We test static pressure before quoting.

Written Quote

Equipment, install labor, line set, refrigerant, permit, tax — every line itemized.

Brands We Install

We install brands with strong Indiana parts availability so you're never waiting two weeks on a board.

Carrier

Authorized dealer. Comfort, Performance, and Infinity series.

Trane

XR, XL, and XV variable-speed lines.

Goodman

Budget-friendly option with solid parts availability.

Mitsubishi

For ductless mini-split or hybrid jobs.

No financial incentive to push one brand over another. We size first, then pick.

AC Installation FAQ

How long does a typical install take?

Standard AC replacement with existing ductwork: one day, 6-8 hours. Full system change with duct modification: 2-3 days.

Do you do free estimates?

Yes — for AC installs we come to the home, run Manual J, check ducts, and provide a written quote at no charge. No high-pressure sales person.

What size AC do I need?

It depends on square footage, ceiling height, insulation, window count and orientation, ductwork condition, and shade. "1 ton per 600 sq ft" is a rule of thumb that's wrong as often as it's right. We do an actual load calc.

Are there 2026 federal tax credits?

Yes — Inflation Reduction Act 25C credits still apply for heat pumps and high-efficiency split systems. We provide the AHRI certificate at install for your tax filing.

Will a new high-efficiency unit lower my bills?

Replacing a 15+ year old 10 SEER unit with a 16 SEER2 typically cuts cooling-season costs 25-35%. Realistic, not exaggerated.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. 0% intro APR options and 5-10 year terms through approved partners. Financing page has current terms.
