Current Openings
HVAC Service Technician
What you'll do: Diagnose and repair residential furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and mini-splits across Boone County and Central Indiana. Customer-facing — you'll explain what you found in plain English. Truck-stocked with common parts.
What we need:
- EPA Section 608 certification (Universal preferred)
- 3+ years residential HVAC service experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, work in attics/crawl spaces, on roofs
- Good communication — you'll be the face of the company on every call
Compensation: Competitive base + service bonuses. Health insurance, paid time off, paid training. Real numbers discussed in interview.
HVAC Install Crew Lead
What you'll do: Lead 1-2 person install crews on residential furnace, AC, heat pump, and mini-split installations. Manual J load calcs, equipment selection assistance, full installs from disconnect-old to commissioning.
What we need:
- EPA Section 608 Universal
- 5+ years HVAC install experience, including high-efficiency 95%+ AFUE
- Experience with line set fabrication, brazing, electrical disconnect, ductwork modification
- Comfortable pulling permits and meeting code inspectors
- Lead by example — squadron culture means we work clean, on time, and the install you do today is the warranty you stand behind for 2-10 years
Compensation: Competitive base + per-install bonuses. Same benefits as service tech role.
HVAC Apprentice / Helper
What you'll do: Ride with experienced techs and install leads, learning the trade hands-on. Hauling equipment, basic install tasks, observing diagnostics. Path to full tech role within 18-24 months with EPA 608 completion.
What we need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willing to do EPA 608 prep (we pay for the certification test)
- Show up on time, work hard, ask questions
Compensation: Hourly start, raises tied to skill milestones. Full health benefits after 90 days.
